Our QMS starts right at the beginning, from the process of selecting the raw produce
Solera catering has developed a number of strict protocols that guide us through the process of sourcing our fresh ingredients. These protocols ensure that the quality of our food achieves and maintains the highest possible standard in freshness, flavour and quality.
1. Freshness is paramount, all ingredients must be sourced from reliable suppliers that offer fresh produce of the highest quality
2. Ingredients that are low in saturated fats and salt are always favoured
3. Depending on availability, we always try to source ingredients that are certified organic
4. Ingredients that have come from Australian producers are always number 1 on our shopping list
5. We will only use eggs that are grain fed - free range or organic, under no circumstances will we use battery laid eggs
6. We will not purchase fish that has been caught outside Australian & New Zealand waters; therefore Nile Perch, Royal Basa or other foreign fish species will never be offered by Solera
7. Use only Australian reared Chicken, Pork, Lamb and Beef, we never use imported raw meat
8. We will not add artificial flavorings, MSG or preservatives to our food
